What is the concept around “active resource allocation”? As it relates to your team, it is the ability and exercise to assess whether you have the current team and skillsets to execute your strategy (aka hit your goals) and adapt as necessary.
Most dentists and business owners are often very good at assessing whether NEW team members fit into the strategy (eg think when we interview potential candidates!), but it is just as crucial to evaluate how your current team fits into your roadmap. It can be a hard exercise. Does someone need training? Should they be promoted? Do they need to move to another role? And in some cases, they may not be the best fit for your current vision.
